Hi everyone. My name is Adedayo. My friends call me Dayo. I love writing poems and songs about God the Creator and His Son Jesus Christ. So i called my website dayoesppoems.com. It’s really about my personal walk with God, which i hope will encourage people to search for God and be inspired by how much God loves them.

YOUR STORY

I am one of 4 siblings. I am also a twin. When my parents were alive, they said i should have been the boy and my brother the girl. Oh well that’s twins for you!

So in my teens i was asking so many questions like, why do people suffer, what is life all about, who am i really, does my mum love me, what’s up there in space, what’s God really like etc etc. I really enjoyed Biology and was fascinated by creation, science and God. I was actively searching for truth.

At college i got a Higher National Diploma in Applied Biology.

I was on my way to play netball at the sports club, many years ago when i was invited to a bible discussion. I went out of curiosity and because of all the questions that i had in my head. After reading the bible from Genesis to Revelation i couldn’t put the book down. There i discovered what my purpose on this beautiful planet called Earth was all about. My spiritual journey was about to begin.

I’m still on this amazing journey. It’s just an amazing miracle how God has seen me through the roughs and the smooths, the highs and the lows, the tests and the trials, and the roller coaster journeys.

I was fully baptized at the age of 24 because of the following passage.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

WHY YOU WANT TO HELP PEOPLE

I wish to help people who might be feeling spiritually lost, misunderstood or are asking questions about life on their own journey or walk with God.

There is a different role for every human being in life. For everyone to find their purpose filled with love is the most fulfilling way, to live out life’s truths.

The book of Proverbs 3:3-6 reads

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He wil make your paths straight.
