We are all on a spiritual journey from birth to death. So what is your purpose in life?  Each person is unique and each person is an inspiration. What a journey of life! The purposeful journey is to find the source of life and you will find it if you are actively searching for it, or you may stumble across it, as you continue to live your life. The source lies within each heart. The journey then begins with the invasion of many ideas and dreams that are expressed.

Spiritual inspirational poems are the DNA or the A-Z or the X-factor of life’s truths. There is a Creator and we are the created. Created out of love for love. The supreme power of the universe, outside of time and space is mind blowing.

Or as one famous poet Oscar Wilde said, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken”. Our individual journeys are physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

The book of Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

What Is A Spiritual Poem

A spiritual poem is like a song that expresses the innermost feelings, emotions  and thoughts inside the human heart or mind or psyche. I started writing poems as a teenager, when looking at creation, peoples lives and my own experiences, whether spiritual, physical, emotional or psychological.

Romans 12:1-2 reads

Therefore, i urge you, brothers in view of God’s mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-His good pleasing and perfect will.

Who Are The Poems For?

These spiritual poems are for anyone who has ever asked or is still asking questions about life, truth or even what is their role or purpose in life as a human being, on this beautiful planet called Earth. Actually for anyone who speaks a language and loves to communicate with others. As Pierre Teilhard, the French philosopher said, “We are spiritual beings having a human experience”.

When i was transitioning as a preteen to a teenager, many years ago, i would ask myself many wonderful mysterious questions, such as, “why am i here”, “why are people suffering”, “why is that person poor”, “does my mum really love me”, “what am i doing on this planet anyway”  etc etc. As i experienced life’s ups and downs, tests and trials, failures and successes, there was an aching in my heart or soul for a longing that i could only describe as psychic or spiritual. Then in my early twenties i was invited to find out about Jesus in a bible discussion. I just didn’t know how my life would then be turned upside down and began to write spiritual poetry.

At age 87 Michelangelo  said, “I am always learning.” The spiritual race is real and we must keep running the race.

Where Does The Inspiration Come From?

Inspiration means to breathe(inspirare-latin).  Inspiration can be breathed into from any where, such as people’s success stories, amazing photography, poetry, search engines, day dreaming, newspapers, magazines, religion, family and friends, history, travel,  music, nature, music,  art, films, people’s conversations, books, writing etc etc. Inspiration is testosterone for the mind turning the inspired thought into your sole belief, goal, religion and purpose in life. Through the words origins, inspiration was only related to God, but today, the word has evolved past it’s origin unto any person, object or action that inspires people.

What a lovely inspirational quote by Maya Angelou, “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty”.

Socrates filled with inspiration, truth and wisdom, wrote, ” The unexamined life is not worth living.

2Timothy 3:16 reads

All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Jesus has worldwide impact, He is the foundation of works of music, art, literature-Christ’s Inspiration. He everywhere healed, took care of the sick, made universities, orphanages, hospitals part of His ethic. Also the hospice movement, care of the fatherless, homes for the aged, western system law and justice.

Why Each Journey Is Unique

We are all on a journey with our own individual paths. So make the best of your life and always love. No matter what choices that we make, the greatest is love. As each person has there own individual DNA, each person’s journey is so different. The combination of all of your variants make up the 0.1% difference in your DNA-the part of your DNA that makes you unique from everyone else-and helps give you a unique sequence…..When recombination happens, the chromosomes are essentially trading DNA variants amongst themselves.

Hebrews 4:12-13

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double edge sword, it pentrates into dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him, to whom we must give account.
